The South East has over 30 colleges and independent training providers and employer providers delivering construction training provision, spread over 7,000 square miles.
Collectively their scale, capacity and potential provide a fantastic foundation from which to tailor and grow training provision, alongside employers, that meets the needs of the construction sector and the regional economy.
Working Together to Strengthen Construction Skills
The SECTEC is about partnership working in a way that harnesses and builds on the expertise and capabilities that exist across the region, working within local structures to create and share knowledge and resources regionally. The SECTEC is currently working with colleges and stakeholders across the region to develop an effective and sustainable Partnership Model that will enable and support growth and quality locally and across the region.
